What Is the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a federal program introduced to help Canadians who do not have access to private dental insurance get the oral health care they need. The plan covers a portion of the cost of eligible dental treatments, making routine and preventive care more accessible for qualifying individuals and families across the country.
We are proud to welcome patients covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). If you or a family member qualifies for this government-funded benefit, our team is here to help you make the most of your coverage and get the care you deserve.
Do You Qualify?
- You are a Canadian resident with a valid health card
- You do not have access to private dental insurance through an employer, pension, or other benefits plan
- Your annual household income is under $90,000
- You have filed your most recent tax return
Services Covered Under CDCP
- Diagnostic services such as exams and X-rays
- Preventive treatments including cleanings and fluoride applications
- Restorative work such as fillings
- Tooth extractions
- Dentures and prosthodontic services for eligible patients
- Emergency dental care
